Update 8 - Renewed Canadian Common CV (CCV) for CIHR
Improved CCV PDF Layout Now Available
(2013-07-23) As a result of the feedback received from the research community and CCV’s member agencies, the CCV is continuously improving. The July 23rd upgrade to the CCV introduced a cleaner, more reader-friendly PDF layout of the CCV. The new layout was developed in collaboration with the CCV user group, which includes researchers and peer reviewers from various disciplines across Canada.
Key enhancements include:
- Increased font size for better readability;
- Fewer table grids to display most of the data without an outline box;
- The inclusion of dates in the lead columns (e.g. Degree Start and End Dates) to read like a standard CV;
- Text descriptions displayed using the full width of the page; and
- On average, a 30% decrease in PDF size.
Please consult the Release Notes on the CCV website for more information. We invite the community to continue to provide feedback to any of the member agencies. Feedback to CIHR can be sent to ccv-cvc@cihr-irsc.gc.ca.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
