The Human Frontier Science Program selects its 2013 grant and award recipients

Frontier Science Program (HFSP) is an international program of research support implemented by the International Human Frontier Science Program Organization (HFSPO). Its aims are to support intercontinental collaboration and training in cutting-edge interdisciplinary research in the life sciences. The HFSPO receives financial support from the governments and research councils of Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, UK, USA, as well as from the European Union.
The HFSP recently announced the 2013 recipients of these highly prestigious and highly selective grants and awards. These included 33 Research Grant Awardees (Young Investigator and Program Grants), 70 Long-Term Fellowships, and 8 Career Development Awards. These grants and awards benefit Canadians as recipients of these awards as well as Canadian institutions as hosts of foreign award holders.
