CIHR releases Designing for the Future: The New Open Suite of Programs and Peer Review Process

(2012-12-20) It has been almost a year since the release of the Design Discussion Document which presented the proposed changes to the CIHR Open Suite of Programs and Peer Review Process.

Since that time, the research community has provided CIHR with their feedback and we have worked with stakeholders to refine the design.  CIHR has now published Designing for the Future: The New Open Suite of Programs and Peer Review Process. This document outlines the refined design and implementation plan for the new Open Suite of Programs and peer review process.

Following the release of the document, Dr. Alain Beaudet and Dr. Jane Aubin will be travelling to institutions across the country to discuss the design and implementation plan with the research community.  These meetings are scheduled to begin in January 2013 and details will be posted to our website once they are available.
