IHSPR Policy Rounds
What are the IHSPR Policy Rounds?
CIHR's Institute of Health Services and Policy Research (IHSPR) Policy Rounds are webinars that disseminate research results and foster knowledge exchange among researchers, health care policy and decision makers, and other stakeholders. IHSPR Policy Rounds showcase current research evidence on high priority topics and promote evidence-informed decision making. Through IHSPR Policy Rounds we hope to spark opportunities to identify and address knowledge gaps and foster collaboration.
Who should participate in IHSPR Policy Rounds?
Each Policy Round engages policy and decision makers, researchers and other stakeholders to share knowledge on health services and policy related research.

Patient-Reported Health Outcomes Measurement: An Essential Foundation for Patient-Centered Health Care Delivery
Patient-reported outcome measurement plays an increasingly important role in health care as it allows patients to assess the effect and quality of care from their point of view. Data from patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) represents important information for clinical care (e.g., assessing health status and patient need), quality improvement and evaluation, and research (e.g., studying the effectiveness of an intervention).
EIHR Portal Webinar
A new resource that puts healthcare renewal evidence at your fingertips
The Evidence-Informed Healthcare Renewal Portal (EIHR Portal) is a comprehensive repository containing 24 types of healthcare renewal documents. This includes situation analyses, jurisdictional reviews and health system data across priority areas identified by Canadian federal, provincial and territorial governments such as I.T., performance indicators and research innovation.
If you haven't yet registered for the EIHR Portal, we invite you to complete the one-time, free registration.
On the EIHR Portal, you will have access to a two-page document and a video tutorial to help you explore the many search capabilities.
