4th CFAS-CIHR-IHDCYH 'New Investigator Workshop: Progressing as a Scientist', for new investigators and trainees in reproductive health

Shoo K Lee, Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health (IHDCYH), is pleased to invite new researchers and trainees to attend the 4th Symposium for new investigators and trainees in Reproductive Health in conjunction with the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) annual meeting. This Symposium is for new investigators (within 5 years of completing their research training) and postdoctoral fellows from Canadian universities, hospitals, and research institutes.
The focus of the symposium is career development. It will feature sessions on grant writing, publishing, running a lab or a research team and developing a research program, with mentoring provided by senior researchers.

Registration
The Symposium will be held at the Ottawa Westin Hotel, Ottawa, on September 6th, 2012 and attendees are requested to register, as attendance is limited due to space restrictions.
CIHR-IHDCYH will provide a limited number of travel funds to new investigators and trainees to assist with travel arrangements, lodging and meals (excluding those provided on September 6th).
