Obesity affects one in four Canadians. The WHO estimates that 2.8 million people die each year, worldwide, due to complications of being overweight or obese. This is the epidemic of the 21st century but what do we really know about it?
Come discuss and debate with scientific and medical experts from the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI MUHC) who are working on different fronts to help end this epidemic. On the eve of the 2nd National Summit on Obesity in Montreal, be "players" in the fight against this epidemic and take the opportunity to learn more about it. We hope to see you there!
