The objectives of the funding opportunity "Operating Grant: Boys' and Men's Health" were:

• To provide further opportunities for Canadian researchers to examine issues of relevance to boys' and men's health; and
• To increase our understanding of the unique gendered (psychological, social, cultural, and structural) and sexed (biological, hormonal and genetic) factors that affect boys' and men's health.
