The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is pleased to announce the results of the Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grant: Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis competition.

Funding Opportunity Summary

The objective of "Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grant: Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis (Winter 2009 Competition)" was to provide partial support for workshops and scientific symposia held in Canada, or for Canadian researchers to participate in international workshops and/or scientific symposia that fall under the IMHA's mandate. IMHA supports research to enhance active living, mobility and movement, and oral health; and addresses causes, prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, support systems, and palliation for a wide range of conditions related to bones, joints, muscles, connective tissue, skin and teeth.

The specific objective of this funding opportunity is to address scientific questions/problems and knowledge translation questions/problems related to IMHA's mandate.
