Emerging Team Grant: Mobility in Aging
The CIHR's Institute of Aging (IA) is pleased to announce the results of the 2007 competition of the Emerging Team Grant: Mobility in Aging (see table below); one of the mechanisms of support under IA's Mobility in Aging Initiative.
This initiative supports the establishment of Teams in Mobility in Aging that cross disciplines and sectors so as to accelerate research to action and that provide research career development and research capacity building opportunities. Such application must be related to aging and/or the aged in one or more of the following relevant research areas:
- biological and physiological factors
- behavioural and psychosocial factors
- biomedical, clinical and technological innovations
- prevention, rehabilitation and management
- environmental factors - social, economic, policy and physical
Within or across any of the above areas, eligible activities also include addressing ethical issues/impact of the research, research translation and research outcomes.
