Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grant: Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis

Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grants are intended to provide support for meetings, planning and/or dissemination activities consistent with the mandate of CIHR and relevant to CIHR Institutes, Initiatives, or Branches.

Under the framework of the CIHR Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grants program specified above, the Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis will provide partial support for workshops and scientific symposia held in Canada, which fall under the IMHA's mandate. IMHA supports research to enhance active living, mobility and movement, and oral health; and addresses causes, prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, support systems, and palliation for a wide range of conditions related to bones, joints, muscles, connective tissue, skin and teeth.

A total of 10 applications were received, 10 were eligible for funding and 8 were approved for funding.
