CIHR Institute of Genetics (IG) and CIHR Institute of Health Services and Policy Research (IHSPR) - Operating Grant: Health Services for Genetic Diseases
The CIHR Institute of Genetics and the CIHR Institute of Health Services and Policy Research, in partnership with the CIHR Institute of Cancer Research, are pleased to announce the results of the Health Services for Genetic Diseases Operating Grants competition.
The purpose of this funding opportunity was to continue strengthening Canadian research activity in "Health Services for Genetic Diseases" by funding operating grants in the following areas of investigation:
- models of service delivery;
- genetics in primary care;
- assessing new and emerging genetic technologies; and
- public engagement and education.
A total of 10 full applications were reviewed by the Health Services for Genetic Diseases Peer Review Committee, of which three rated above 3.7 on the CIHR rating scale. All three successful applications will be funded. One grant will receive funds in support of integrated KT activities.
