Priority Announcement - Operating Grant

September 2007 Competition

The objective of the operating grant under the strategic initiative Excellence, Innovation and Advancement in the Study of Obesity and Healthy Body Weight (Priority Announcement - Operating Grants) is to promote excellent research contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the area of obesity / healthy body weight.

A relevance review committee determined the relevance of applications to the objectives of this strategic initiative using the information provided by the applicant in the Relevance Form. Upon completion of the relevance review process applications deemed sufficiently relevant were given further consideration based on the peer review score. INMD only considered funding relevant applications receiving a peer review score of 3.5 and above.

The INMD relevance review committee determined relevance to this strategic initiative prior to completion of the peer review process. This ensures that relevance reviewers are blinded to the peer review results.

Based on the total funds available for the initiative, 2 applications will be funded by INMD.
