Neurobiology of Psychiatric Disorders and Addictions Program
The Canadian Psychiatric Research Foundation (CPRF), AstraZeneca Canada Inc. (AZ) , The Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction (INMHA) and the CIHR/Rx&D Collaborative Research Program are pleased to announce the results of the "Neurobiology of Psychiatric Disorders and Addictions Program" Competition.
The goal of the Program is to promote meritorious research into the neurobiology of psychiatric disorders and addictions: schizophrenia, mood disorders (depression and bipolar disorders), anxiety disorders, and addiction and co-morbidity.
The applications received for this competition were reviewed by the Canadian Psychiatric Research Foundation (CPRF) peer review committee. A total of 15 applications were submitted to the March 1, 2006 deadline, of which three (3) were approved for funding.
