Eligibility Requirements

Who can apply?

• Master's, doctoral student or postdoctoral fellow
• Individual researcher
• Research group

Candidates must be official CIHR Synapse mentors at the time of the nomination. They must have engaged in productive and sustained youth engagement activities focused on stimulating or maintaining an interest in health research in young people at the secondary school level. Candidates will be judged based on the results achieved from such activities. To become a CIHR Synapse mentor, potential candidates simply have to create a CIHR Synapse Profile.
